These 6-ply 100% maple Sonic Cut shells are cut shallower for the tight focus, articulation, and crisp response ideal for hard, reflective indoor surfaces. The rounded bearing edges help eliminate unwanted overtones. 2.3mm SuperHoop II give increased strength and durability. The redesigned aluminum alloy tension casings have a sleek appearance and reduced weight. 8 tension casings on the 12" and 13" (instead of 6), give improved tuning accuracy and even dispersion of tension. 6mm case-hardened tension bolts permit the highest tension without failure. 40mm tom spacers allow close-in positioning for improved playing ergonomics and better weight distribution. The colors coordinate well with any band uniform.
